The church is a unique sight of the so-called Saxon Renaissance with ribbed mesh arch with thorns, diamond portals, window tracery or storeyed porches. To this day it has been preserved in this building style almost unchanged, which was the reason for its inclusion in the list of national cultural monuments. The most valuable part of the furnishings is a unique Renaissance altar with alabaster reliefs from 1604.
